The Two for Tuesday item this week is a sequin dress. Sorry it's a repeat, but really, can you ever get enough sequins? The correct is answer is NO.

This is the outfit I wore on NYE. We took the pictures the morning of...and, alright, I'm just gonna say it: you can totally see Bubba, my food baby. Now I don't want to turn this into an I hate my body rant, because I don't hate my body...just Bubba really. I need someone to tell me when to suck it in when we are taking outfit pics, since it apparently doesn't occur to the hubs. I guess I can't blame him...I think he was probably too busy trying to peek up my dress. Kidding. But he did tell me the dress was, well...a little promiscuous. Awesome. Suspicion that dress is too short & tight slutty for cocktail party: confirmed. So did I still wear the dress? YEP. Did I end up accidentally flashing most of the guests at the party? Well.....maybe :)

P.S. I did decide to pair the dress with more opaque tights that night...and I think that helped the promiscuity factor. Annnnd I picked up a good 'ol pair of every woman's best friend: Spanx. And the oversized sweater coat hopefully helped too.

Servant of God Dominga Florit Guzman

The Church in Puerto Rico and mainland U.S.A. has a shining example of selfless service driven by love in Mother Dominga Florit Guzman, Dominican sister, and foundress of the Congregation of the Dominican Sisters of Our Lady of the Rosary of Fatima, also known as the Sisters of Fatima.

Mother Dominga was born in Pio Piedras, Puerto Rico on Sept 3rd, 1897, the eldest of five children by her father's second wife. Sadly, her father died when she was just eight years old, and her mother just three years later, leaving Dominga an orphan at the age of eleven.

After a year spent at an orphanage, Dominga won a scholarship to study in mainland USA, offered by the Dominican Sisters of the Holy Cross (Amityville Dominicans). It was while studying that Dominga realized her vocation to be a religious sister, and so, at the age of fifteen, she joined the Amityville Dominicans who had been so good to her.

Her heart belonged to the people of Puerto Rico, and she returned there to work in a school sponsored by the sisters. From 1925-1949, she worked for the school, but eventually felt called to do more for her people. Accordingly, she founded a congregation of Dominican sisters with the goal of "Bringing Christ to the family and the family to Christ."

In the years that followed, Mother Dominga, like the great Saint Mother Theodore Guerin, placed all her trust in Divine Providence. She was known to have a deep prayer life, seemingly always having a rosary in her hand. And as her private room looked out onto the Tabernacle, she was known as the Neighbor of the Blessed Sacrament.

After a life of holy work rooted in the love of her neighbors, Mother Dominga died on Jan 16, 1993. So inspired were those who knew her, her cause for sainthood has been opened, earning her the title Servant of God.

Adabel Guerrero en el "Cantando 2012"

Tal como habia anticipado a principios de 2012, Adabel Guerrerodara un giro en su carrera y mostrara mas sus dotes vocales que sus atributos fisicos. Al menos en television, la vedette confirmo que sera parte de Cantando 2012, uno de los concursos producidos por Ideas del Sur.

"No quiero hablar mucho porque me falta poner la firma pero tuve propuestas por el lado del canto de parte de Ideas", dijo la vedette.

Instalada en Mar del Plata, donde hace temporada con "Excitante", Adabelaseguro que "la segunda quincena es mas fuerte que la primera y el carino, la respuesta del publico es tal que da placer venir a trabajar".

Sobre el cruce entre Jesica Cirio y Alejandra Maglietti, sus companeras de elenco, Adabel fue muy escueta: "confio en que las cosas se solucionaran pronto porque no hay mala onda. En una convivencia siempre hay roces, pero son menores y con una charla se pueden resolver". (Pronto)
